ACCEPTANCE
All orders are accepted according to these terms and conditions only.
PRICE
All prices are subject to change without notice. Calculation errors sometimes occur. We cannot be responsible for mathematical errors on hand written quotes. Please check your order carefully to make certain all calculations and prices are correct.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/CONFIRMATION
It is the responsibility of the customer to check the work-order for errors. Therefore, it is important that you review your order form carefully and report any discrepancies immediately to insure correct production. Maine & Moss cannot be responsible for production errors arising from unreported discrepancies, such as spelling errors, colors, etc. Any special requests must be in writing. We will not be responsible for verbal instructions that are not followed.
TERMS
All custom printed orders require a 50% deposit, balance due upon completion, cash or certified check. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Company check may be accepted only once an account has been established and application approved. Personal Checks are accepted for deposits only. There will be a $25.00 service charge on all returned checks and the account will be on a cash-only basis. Past due invoices are subject to a service charge of 1 1/2% per month.
QUANTITY DISCOUNTS
To qualify for quantity discount pricing, the entire order must be printed with the same screen.
SCREENS/TAPES
All artwork, screens, and embroidery tapes are the sole property of Maine & Moss and are produced for use for in-house production only, and will not be made available for any other purpose. Screen prep charges vary and Maine & Moss reserves the right to adjust billing without notice should extra art-prep be required. Unless an exact black/white mechanical is supplied, ALL artworks, including letter styles, imprint sizes, and any such variables, are at the complete discretion of our art staff.
RE-ORDERS
No screen charges will apply if re-orders is placed within 12 months of last order.
PRODUCTION PROOFS
Paper proofs will be faxed at no extra charge. Changes to an existing proof, unless for errors made by Maine & Moss, will incur additional charges. Camera-ready stats are available at additonal costs.
CHANGES
Changes cannot be made once a final order is placed. If accepted, all changes must be in writing and may incur additional charges. Maine & Moss will produce all orders exactly as per the specifications written on the order form only. We will not be responsible for mistakes on orders or changes in orders made by phone not accompanied by a written request for such alterations.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We assume no liability for non-fulfillment due to inability to obtain garments. Due to shrotage of materals at various times. Maine & Moss reserves the right, when neccessary and in our judgement, to substitute garments of equal or greater quality in order to complete orders in a timely manner. Maine & Moss also reserves the right for substitution of ALL rush orders or any orders with a specific deadline.
MATERIALS AND INKS
Maine & Moss cannot guarantee the exactness of dye lots. Garmets on the same order, even team orders, may have various shades of the same color, in addition, some garments take ink better than others. No responsibility is assumed for fading or bleeding due to various combinations of ink an fabric dyes.
CANCELLATIONS
Your order covers merchandise specially made for you and not carried in stock. Cancelled orders will be charged according to cost incurred up to the date of cancellation, including screen, art, set-up, and garment return charges.
RETURN POLICY
Maine & Moss cannot be responsible for garments that were ordered incorrectly. Exchanges, if at all possible, require re-stocking and shipping fees. Any claims for damaged or defective goods must be received within 14 days of delivery date.
UNCLAIMED MERCHANDISE
Any order not claimed within 30 days of date of invoice is forfeited to Maine & Moss and deposit is lost. The customer will be liable for any outstanding balances on unclaimed merchandise.
MIMIMUM ORDERS
Less than mimimum order quantities are not available. Should Maine & Moss choose to accept a fill-in order it will be subject to a $15.00/color imprint surcharge.
RUSH ORDERS
Rush orders are usually produced as a favor to our customers and at no additional costs. Therefore, Maine & Moss reserves the right to make the final decisions on a variables including garment style, colors, inks, etc. in order to meet deadline. We cannot be responsible for any delays in delivery once an order is shipped via UPS / FEDEX or other postal couriers.
OVERRUNS / UNDERRUNS
We will make every attempt to fill exact quantities ordered. However, due to availability goods and unforseen production problems, this is not always possible. A 5% shortage range is reserved.
